Jeanneau Sun Fast 3300

The Jeanneau Sun Fast 3300 is a boat designed without compromise for success on the race course.  The infusion moulding process has produced a light, powerful hull with exceptional rigidity that combines speed with stability in any sea conditions.  Perfectly laid out for racing singlehanded, double-handed or fully crewed, this striking design will prove to be a tough competitor racing inshore or offshore. Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to six berths.  The separate heads compartment is forward with marine toilet and washbasin.  80 litre holding tank.  Access to forepeak via watertight hatch.  In saloon, two settee berths with stowage under and behind.  Cushions and backrest have removable Sunbrella covers.  Table with drop leaves. Opening hatch to deck.  Chart table to starboard with plenty of space for instrumentation and compatible with laptop computers.  Comfortable moulded seats port and starboard by chart table and galley.  Galley to port with two burner gas hob.  Stainless steel sink with pressurised cold water system.  100 litre freshwater capacity.  Icebox.  There are good sized plexiglas windows on the coachroof port and starboard allowing forward and upward vision for crew at the galley or chart table.  Two aft cabins with good sized double berths.  These berths can be raised for comfortable sleeping whilst heeled.  In each cabin there is a portlight to the cockpit, fabric hanging locker, storage space under the berths and fabric cabins door closures.  There is good access to the engine compartment.  Headroom by the companionway is 5' 10", aft cabins 6' 2" and forward in the saloon 5' 1".

Mechanical Systems

Located behind the companionway, Yanmar 2YM15 twin cylinder 15hp diesel engine.  Electric start.  Shaft drive to two bladed folding propeller.  Seawater cooled.  50 litre fuel capacity in plastic tank.  Single lever control.

Fractionally rigged sloop. Anodised aluminium mast and boom.  Deck stepped mast.  Dyform stainless steel standing rigging.  Two textile adjustable backstays.  Spectra and Terylene running rigging.  Slab reefing to mainsail.  Forestay set up for hanked sails.  Lines led aft to cockpit.  Two Harken 40.2 self tailing primary sheet winches for genoa, spinnaker and backstays.  Two Harken 40.2 self tailing winches on coachroof for halyards and control lines.  Harken deck hardware.  Spinlock clutches.

Built by Jeanneau to a design by Andrieu/Verdier.  Infusion moulded GRP balsa cored hull with infusion moulded inner liner.  Infusion moulded GRP foam cored superstructure.  Infusion moulded GRP cored bulkheads.  Lead and cast iron straight fin keel.  Twin spade hung rudders.  Tiller steering.  Aft self draining cockpit.  Adjustable footholds for helmsman.
