Electrical & Mechanical systems

Located on an articulated mounting bracket on the transom and steered via the main tiller and rudder is a Electric trolling motor and 75Ahr Battery.

There is a simple 12v system installed to run the navigation equipment and other items. New battery May 2024.

Longshore 16, built in 1991 by Longshore Yachts to a design by Peter Harris. White GRP hull with blue style stripe, teak-laid decks, and superstructure. Encapsulated long keel. Tiller steering to transom hung rudder. Teak toerail and grabrails.
