Accommodation :
This Westerly Fulmar provides comfortable accommodation for up to seven people across two cabins, with a maximum headroom of approximately 6 feet.
The forepeak features a V-berth with ample under-berth storage and an infill that easily converts it into a double berth, with natural light provided by an overhead deck hatch.
Moving aft, the separate heads compartment is equipped with a stainless-steel sink set in a vanity unit, offering pressurized hot and cold water, and a marine toilet. The space also includes a built-in shower tray and a mirror. Opposite the heads compartment is a wet hanging locker.
The saloon features a central folding table with two leaves, flanked by settee berths on both the port and starboard sides. These berths provide convenient storage under the seats and on shelves behind them. The port settee can also be easily converted into a double berth.
Located on the starboard side aft within the saloon, the galley is equipped with a gimbaled 2-burner gas hob with an oven and grill, a single stainless-steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, and ample storage space. Adjacent to the galley is a forward-facing chart table, with a quarter berth situated behind it. Hot water is provided by the engine calorifier tank and a 240v immersion heater
Ascending the companionway leads to the spacious aft cockpit, featuring bench seating for up to seven people and generous storage in a deep locker. The cockpit instrumentation includes a compass, depth gauge, wind direction indicator, and speed log, with engine controls conveniently positioned at the rear.

History & Construction:
Constructed by Westerly Yachts in 1985 according to an Ed Dubois design. Featuring a white GRP hull adorned with a teak toe rail and rubbing strake, self-draining cockpit, and white GRP decks with blue non-slip painted surfaces. Its stability is ensured by cast iron bilge keels, with tiller steering and spade rudder.
The boat was last out of the water in May 2024 when the anodes were changed, hull polished and antifouled. The shaft bearing was last changed at the same time in May 2024.
This Westerly Fulmar has been well maintained by the current owner for the past 9 years. The owner is looking to sell due to the lack of time they use the yacht. A berth at Chatham Marina is available by separate negotiation.

Spars & Sails:
This Westerly Fulmar features a fractional sloop rig, with a deck-stepped aluminium mast and boom. The mast is secured by stainless steel standing rigging. Equipped with a convenient furling headsail and a slab reef and lazy Jacks mainsail, this vessel allows for efficient sailing in various conditions. The age of the standing and running rigging is unknown.

Mechanical Systems:
The Westerly Fulmar is equipped with a 30HP Nanni N3.21HE engine, installed in 2015, and driven by a shaft-mounted two-bladed fixed propeller, operated via Morse controls. Fuel is stored in a 90-liter steel tank. The engine was last serviced by the owner in 2022 and the shaft bearing was replaced in May 2024.
This Fulmar can achieve a cruising speed of approximately 5 knots, with a maximum speed of around 7 knots.
Electrical Systems:
The Westerly Fulmar is equipped with three 12-volt batteries, comprising one for engine use and two for domestic purposes. These batteries charge directly from the engine alternator and a solar panel. The engine battery was replaced in 2021 and the domestic batteries in November 2024.
