Hunter 36 Legend
Please note that this vessel is currently wintering in the isle of Man
A rare chance to acquire one of these fine, and well designed vessels, comfortable and very well equipped. She is regularly sailed, often single handed, in the Irish sea, a sea not noted for its kindly disposition but one which Golden Leader seems to handle with particular ease.
She is fitted with twin bulb footed bilge keels allowing shallower creeks to be explored with ease, the keels also enable her to dry out upright, a boon for undertaking routine maintenance between tides.
The accommodation is well thought out and is in very good order, predominantly in hardwood timbers, comfortable, bright and cheery. She is currently on the hard within Whitehaven Marina having all her standing rigging replaced and routine maintenance to the hull, this is an impressive vessel and well worth viewing.
Accommodation and layout
The accommodation is finished predominantly in selected hardwoods with wipe clean side and head linings and teak and holly effect sole boards. The soft furnishings are in particularly good condition throughout.
A large double berth cabin is located forward of the main transverse bulkhead with the saloon aft stretching the full width of the vessel and having U shaped seating to starboard with a single linear sofa to port and a large central dining table
The large heads with shower facilities is located to port aft of the navigation area, the galley and entrance to the aft cabin is located opposite to starboard. The aft cabin is of good size with an athwartships double berth.
The vessel can sleep four persons in the two double berth cabins with an additional three berths available in the saloon if required.
