The Bavaria Cruiser 33 is an ideal family cruiser. Easy to sail with rewarding performance and a comfortable layout for easy living below deck, it's no wonder that they remain so popular. This excellent well-specified example has been carefully used and well maintained by her knowledgeable owner with sensible upgrades to improve the experience afloat. Accommodation
The interior is pleasantly fitted out with Teak joinery and blue upholstery. There is plenty of ventilation with deck hatches in the saloon and forecabin and opening portlights in the aft cabin and over the chart table and galley. The layout offers up to six berths with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation. In the forecabin, V berth with stowage under. Hanging lockers. In the saloon, dinette to starboard with settee berth opposite. Fixed table with drop leaves. Chart table to port with galley opposite. Dometic three burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water supply. Hot water is heated by the engine or immersion heater. 150 litre freshwater capacity. Refrigerator. Separate heads compartment to port with marine WC, shower and washbasin. Holding tank. Wet hanging space. Aft cabin with double berth. Hanging locker. Webasto diesel fired hot air central heating. The cockpit is fitted with teak to the seats and sole and the large cockpit table with drop leaves is ideal for alfresco entertaining. The drop down transom doubles as a bathing platform and allows easy boarding from a dinghy or access to a pontoon.
Mechanical Systems
Located behind the companionway, Volvo D1-30 three cylinder 30hp diesel engine. The engine was installed new in 2019 and has very low hours, probably about 100. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Saildrive to two bladed propeller. Single lever control. 150 litre fuel capacity giving approximately 120 mile range at 6 knot cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 7 knots. Full engine service by Volspec in September 2023. Bow thruster.

Construction
Built in 2014 by Bavaria Yachts to a design by Farr Yacht Design. White GRP hull with style stripes. Alloy toe rail. White GRP superstructure with faux teak to deck. Cast iron shallow draft fin keel. Spade hung rudder. Wheel steering. Aft self draining cockpit with teak laid cockpit seats and sole. Coppercoat antifouling system.
