The Sadler 26 needs little introduction. These capable family cruisers have a well deserved reputation for sea kindly performance combined with a comfortable layout below. Mechanical & Electrical Systems

Located behind the companionway, Beta Marine twin cylinder 16hp diesel engine, installed new in 2023. Electric start. Fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Shaft drive to three bladed fixed propeller. Single lever control. 38 litre fuel capacity. Rope cutter.

12 volt domestic battery (2023). 12 volt engine start battery (2023). Alternator charging, Wind generator. 240 volt shore power system. Battery charger.

Mast, Rigging & Contruction

Masthead rigged sloop. Deck stepped aluminium mast and boom by Kemp Spars. Stainless steel standing rigging (2019). Terylene running rigging. Headsail furling system. Slab reefing mainsail. Lines led aft to cockpit. Two Barlow control line winches. Two Lewmar sheet winches. Two Barton sheet winches. Spinnaker pole.

Built in 1984 by Sadler International to a design by Martin Sadler. The hull is a twin skinned construction providing enough buoyancy to make the boat unsinkable. It also provides insulation, making the interior warm, dry and quiet. White GRP hull with style stripes. Hull was professionally painted in 2021. Teak rubbing strakes. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to deck. Shoal fin keel. Aft self draining cockpit. Skeg hung rudder. Tiller steering.
