Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean”

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

  • GRP hull and superstructure.
  • The hull is painted in Awlgrip Flag Blue, over dark blue gelcoat.
  • The hull topsides are foam cored glass fibre reinforced vinylester construction.
  • Additional hull windows added during construction in owner’s cabin and aft cabins giving a huge amount of light in the yacht.
  • Dinghy garage added during construction.
  • The bottom has been treated with four layers of epoxy primer and two layers of anti-fouling.
  • Deck is of sandwich construction, using multiaxial glass fibre reinforced vinylester laminate and a low-density closed cell foam core.
  • Full teak deck with additional teak work on coach roof. Deck in excellent condition with a small amount of wear, less than could be expected for a yacht of her age, she was not used in 2023.

 

Keel & Rudder:

  • The keel is a lead casting with 2.5% antimony.
  • Twin rudder steering system with double white painted steering wheels. Weed deflector in front of rudder.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

  • 1 x Volvo D2-75 with sail drive 75hp.
  • The engine space is internally sound insulated.

 

Maintenance & Performance:

  • Yearly maintenance.

 

Propulsion & Steering:

  • Retractable Bow thruster.
  • Side-Power SRVP-100-24IP.
  • Thruster is controlled by a joystick unit on starboard steering pedestal.
  • Two 1.05m white painted carbon fibre steering wheels.

Voltage Systems:

  • The AC system is a 230 V 50 Hz single-phase three-wire AC-system.
  • The AC system can be fed by 230 V 32 A shore power inlet.

  • Service battery - Lithium-Ion Victron Smart LiFePO4 with a Victron BMV 712 Smart battery monitor.
  • Separate 24V/75Ah battery bank for bow thruster. Under the bow berth with separate isolator.

  • B&G HALO 24 compact 24” dome radar antenna, integrated with the B&G Zeus2 navigation system.
  • Forward-looking sonar B&G Forward Scan integrated with the B&G Zeus navigation system.
  • B&G Zeus3 12-inch multifunction displays, one on each pedestal in cockpit. Including GRP pedestal tops.
  • B&G Forward Scan.
  • B&G Structure Scan.
  • B&G CHIRP echo.
  • B&G Sonar Hub.
  • B&G autopilot for B&G H5000 system. Autopilot controller located close to starboard pedestal. Wireless remote auto-pilot controller B&G WR10 including base station antenna WR10 BT-1.

 

Communication Systems:

  • Yachtspot Internet 4G & Wi-Fi Pro system.
  • Searches for 4G networks or public Wi-Fi "hot spots" and broadcasts them into the yachts wireless local area network (WLAN).

Domestic Equipment

Galley:

  • 2 Units of Webasto AirTop Diesel Heater System, one port side and one starboard.
  • Remote sensors for room temperature in the saloon and multi-control panel with display above the main panel in saloon.

 

Entertainment:

  • Marine stereo system Fusion MS-RA770 (AM/FM, Wi-Fi streaming, optical in, USB, Bluetooth) and ceiling speakers B&W CCM-362 one pair in saloon. Connected to B&G NMEA2000 bus which allows control from MFDs.
  • Additional speakers in cockpit – Fusion MS-FR6021.
  • LED TV 32-inch, Samsung Series 5 with built-in digital DVB-T2 tuner, installed on pop-up tv-lift in saloon, stbd, connected to the chart plotter.

 

Security Systems:

  • C-Pod boat alarm and tracking system. Allows tracking of the boat from ashore. System includes PIR motion detector, and a water level sensor positioned in the saloon. Battery voltage alarm is included in the main unit. A GSM text message sent by the system when an alarm is triggered. External GPS antenna is positioned on deck.
  • Thermal/daylight pan-tilt and zoom spreader camera IRIS 295 v2 with joystick control IRIS 595. Camera is located under 1st spreader. Camera picture is viewed and controlled on B&G Zeus display at port pedestal.

 

Lighting:

  • All lighting in the yacht is LED type.

Accommodation

Summary of Accommodation:

  • 6 – 7 berths in 3 cabins.
  • With three double cabins, (Owner’s forward cabin, port aft double cabin and twin starboard aft cabin with additional fill in to convert to a double bed), MIA provides a welcoming environment for her owner and guests.
  • The owner’s cabin has beautiful royal blue fabric upholstered bulkhead panels.
  • The interior has been designed to ensure maximum comfort for prolonged periods, both under sail and at anchor.
  • The yacht has beautiful horizontal panelling for the bulkheads.
  • Furniture is in a walnut satin finish with accent furniture in the saloon with a dark treated walnut, varnished to a high gloss.
  • The interior mood is ‘Blue Velvet’.
  • The chart table in the navigation area can be lowered and converted into an additional berth.
  • The two bathrooms are built in first grade materials with showers. The lockers are in wood, the vanity tops are made in Corian and the shower stalls in GRP.
  • Additional leather upgrades include leather pockets in saloon (3 pcs), forward cabin (4 pcs), leather wrapping for overhead and main companionway handrails in saloon, leather wrapping on mast in saloon, with additional leather top surfaces in the cabins.
  • In the galley there is an additional Corian worktop over the cooker to improve workspace.

  • Selden, white painted Carbon fibre Mast.
  • Selden carbon v-boom.
  • 1 x boom light.
  • Hydraulic system, back stay, outhaul and boomvang, in conjunction with four function hydraulic pump in cockpit.

  • 2 x aluminium genoa sheet tracks with sheel lead under coaming on side decks.
  • 2 x genoa cars with adjustable pin stops.
  • 2 x end stops with fairleads aft.
  • 2 x end stops forward.
  • All ropes upgraded to racing, the most used only for the Swan Cup, and with many spares.
  • All halyards and control lines are led down to the main sheet and primary winches in the cockpit.

  • 2 x blocks forward of boom for main sheet.
  • 10 x halyard blocks, recessed at mast.
