Firecrest is a wondeful example of this cutter 34 design yacht, cutter rigged having been maintained to a good standard standard by her current owner for the last 11 years, she had new sails in 2005, the running rigging has been mostly replaced over the last 3 years and the standing rigging was all done in 2022, a new main Halyard and spinnaker halyard also replaced in 2022 she is powered by the yanmar 3g 27 hp diesel which was re built by Motive marine in 2014, the yacht also accommodates 5 in comfort from 2 cabins, the fore cbin has twin v berths with an infil to make a double when needed, the saloon also converts a double and 1 single berth, full teak to the deck and cock pit with off white hull and superstructure with a burgundy rebate make her stand out, this is one yacht that does need to be seen to appreciate the quality of build, The sails were mostly new in 2005, they were made by Kemp sails in square woven dracon, she has a Genoa on Harken IC furling system plus Harken led block kit, Furlex roller reefing self tacking staysail, all thre running rigging led aft to cock pit through spinlock organisers and clutches, Winches are 2no Lewmar 43 self tailing genoa sheet winches, 1no Lewmar halyard winch, 2no Lewmar 16 self tailing winches,she currently is lying close to our office.
The current owner bought the yacht from ourselves 11 years ago, she has remained around the Solent and now resides at Shamrock Quay Marina on her home berth and is ready for viewings by appointment.
