The Sabre 38 is a diesel auxiliary masthead sloop designed by the Sabre Design Group andbuilt in fiberglass by Sabre Yachts between 1981 and 1987. 100 yachts were built.The Sabre 38 is a moderate weight sailboat which performs well under sail and can be successfully club raced. She is very stable /stiff and has an excellent righting moment, all qualities that one desires in a comfortable coastalcruiser.
