Magnificent example of the Nauta 65 designed by Bruce Farr. Recently upgraded, privately owned and ready for sale. Sleeps 6 guests and 2 crew members.
FURTHER BROKER’S COMMENTS:
One of four Nauta 65’s built in by the Italian CNB Fano builder at N.Y.T.E.C.O. yard, to designs by Bruce Farr and with interiors by Cantieri Mostes in Genoa, SOUTH WIND (originally named LADY O) was conceived as a stylish luxury bluewater cruiser to take her first owner in comfort, safety and at speed. Easy to manoeuvre thanks to her well carefully considered winch layout, she has a comfortable centre cockpit that guests can enjoy while under sail and a custom easy to access engine room designed by Nauta as requested from the first owner.
Benefitted from a recent comprehensive refit under the supervision of the current owner and at a cost in excess of Euro 140,000, SOUTH WIND has seen only light summer use since. Her specification highlights include:-

OWNER’S COMMENTS:
We have sailed SOUTH WIND as a family boat for the past four years in Italy, Croatia, Greece, and Turkey. She is easy to handle with a small crew, and unlike smaller and lighter boats she is comfortable and safe in big seas and strong winds. Her oversized engine means that we can motor under any conditions when necessary. We have been abroad for up to ten weeks every summer and love her overall layout: having a separate cockpit for relaxing and eating is great! We are selling only because we are buying a bigger boat. Many of her technical systems have been renewed and are likely to continue to function well with proper maintenance. We regularly sail more than 10 knots in moderate winds, which is not bad for a boat with AC and all the comforts we are used to from home!
