Berth in Greece (Ionian Sea, LEFKADA area).
A beautiful (fast) sailing yacht fully equipped to sail away.
The Feeling 39 DI has a 'retractable' keel and 2 rudder blades
The sailing yacht is from 1991 and in the past 2 years a lot has been renewed/overhauled, such as:
In (winter) 2023/24
• Gearbox overhauled
• New VOLVO seal on the propeller shaft.
• Outside water cooling unit of the engine overhauled.
• New engine mounts (vibration dampers)
• Entire engine checked and repaired/renewed where necessary.
• New antifouling.
In (winter) 2022/23
• The bearings of the propeller shaft and the two rudders have been renewed, as well as the steering gear.
• Engine checked and made ready to sail for summer 2023
• Rigging checked again (by official rigging/sailmaker) and set to good tension.
In (winter) 2021/22
• New forestay and furling jib installation
• New sea railing all around
• Mast off and new deck-steamproof + wiring.
• Rigging checked by rigger (sailmaker) and (although old) found to be in good condition
• A whole new interior cladding (walls and ceiling, etc.)
• New shut-off valves for water supply toilet and sink and drain toilet/waste water tank
• Replace toilet drain hoses
• Underwater hull completely blasted and unevenness tightened with 'underwater' epoxy primer and then 4 coats epoxy primer and then 2 layers of (hard) antifouling.
• The old (steel) keel plate has been replaced by a new INOX (stainless steel) keel plate.
• New 6 blade bow thruster (2022)
• New (spare) Delta anchor (20kg.) 2022.
• New INOX (stainless steel) anchor chain 100m x 10mm.
In short, the yacht is in excellent condition, to sail away with.
Are there any signs of use......... Yes it's not a new boat and there are still some small things that you can do yourself.
