The Jeanneau Tonic 23 is a popular small family cruiser and this one comes complete with a single axle road trailer giving flexibility in cruising location. An ideal starter boat with good headroom for a 23 footer and a separate heads compartment makes life easier with family and friends. Yamaha 8hp 2 stroke outboard with electric start in a well.
Over the past couple of years, the owner has spent a considerable amount on upgrades to the standing and running rigging (replaced 2022), reupholstering interior cushions, engine servicing, and trailer upgrades.
Construction
GRP constructed yacht with white hull, deck and superstructure. Self bailing anchor locker in bow with ground tackle. Large self bailing cockpit with deep storage locker to starboard. Offset outboard well for engine with protective lid / seat.
Ballasted stub keel with lifting center plate aids launching and recovery onto the trailer. Transom hung rudder with tiller steering.
Mechanicals
Vessel powered by a Yamaha 8hp 2 stroke outboard with electric start in a well. Remote fuel tank and engine controls. Engine last serviced 31/3/22.
12v electrical system with a single 12V battery recharged via the engine providing service power. A new electrical panel has been fitted but wiring needs completion.
Rigging and Sails
Fractional rigged Bermudan sloop with deck stepped alloy spars. Stainless steel standing rigging and running rigging led aft to cockpit. Standing rigging replaced in 2022 along with running rigging.

Accommodation
Accommodation for 3 to 4 in an open plan layout with good headroom for a 23 footer. Two berths in forward part of the saloon and double berth aft beneath the cockpit sole. The cushions have recently been re-upholstered in marine grade fabrics.
The galley area is on port side beside companionway with a twin burner hob and grill, sink with manual fresh water and storage cupboards. Opposite the galley is the heads compartment with chemical toilet and wash hand basin. Forward of the heads and at the end of the starboard saloon settee is a chart table with chart storage and electrical panel. A new electrical panel has been fitted but needs wiring to be completed.
