The Fairey Huntsman 31 is renowned for its excellent performance and seakeeping qualities. This beautiful example of these enduring classics is powered by twin Volvo Penta TAMD41 200Hp diesel engines.
The boat is currently ashore on the Hamble, and has been freshly antifouled and new anodes fitted.
Founded in 1946 by Sir Richard Fairey, Fairey Marine is celebrated for crafting lightweight, high-performance wooden boats that blend naval technology with elegance. Initially building small dinghies, the company rose to prominence in the 1960s with race-winning motorboats like the Huntsman series.

The aft cabin also features two single berths.

The versatile cockpit offers adjustable driver and passenger seats that can face either the bow or stern. An additional seat insert across the aft cabin door enables seating for up to six people in the cockpit.
A full cockpit cover allows you to sit comfortably outside, sheltered from the elements. The aft window provides visibility even on rainy days, and the cover and supports can be fully removed for warm, sunny weather.
The boat was taken out of the water for refurbishment from 2022 to 2023, during which it was repainted and varnished. The varnishing and antifouling have been redone recently, so she’s ready to launch and enjoy.
The heads include a toilet and shower with hot water.
Equipped with a range of electronics: ICOM VHF radios in the cabin and cockpit, Raymarine depth and speed gauges, compass, and a Raymarine chart plotter.
An electric windlass for the anchor can be operated from both the foredeck and cockpit.
The galley sink also has hot water, and a fitted fridge is on hand to keep your drinks cool.
