RUSTLER 42 Coruisk for sale. One owner from new, Launched 2006.

The Rustler 42 is a proven offshore cruising boat designed by the renowned British Naval Architect Stephen Jones. Encapsulated keel, skeg hung rudder, and cutter rig as standard. Easily handled by a couple, some are even on long single handed cruises. Light and spacious interior with exquisite woodwork, 2 staterooms plus an ergonomic saloon and head. 

Very sought after yacht, rarely available on the brokerage market.

Hull, Deck & Keel

  • Hull form comprising of a long fin encapsulated keel with a full skeg
  • Hull Construction - hand laid system, using glass fibre re‐inforced polyester (GRP) in accordance with Stephen Jones construction drawings and using Lloyds approved materials
  • The hull has a double gel coat and isopthalic resin lay‐up throughout with matched chopped strand mat and woven roving for maximum resistance to porosity and tropical conditions
  • Coach roof and inner coamings are stiffened with 12mm balsa core and all deck fittings are reinforced by 12mm marine ply pads
  • The hull and deck are joined by overlapping GRP laminate with a wide teak capping rail
  • Teak laid side decks 
  • Stanchion bases and cleats are mounted on top and through bolted
  • White gelcoat hull 
  • Off‐white coach roof
  • The ballast is a lead casting of 4.6 tons, and fully encapsulated in the keel
  • The rudder is constructed using a 50mm stainless steel stock with large tangs encapsulated in GRP
  • The rudder is fully protected with a full length skeg
  • Rudder stock supported by a strong bronze fitting at base of rudder skeg
