Construction

RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to June 1998.

She has been IRC & ORC rated. Built to DoT MCA Code 0 charter specifications.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Hull of single skin construction using glass/aramid hybrid fibre reinforced polyester laminate.
• Full protective epoxy coating below waterline.
• Antifouled and race prepped underwater.
• Hull colour dark blue gelcoat with white boot top and cove line stripes. Paint sprayed in AWLGRIP Flag Blue in 2012.
• Two dark blue coaming stripes.
• Full teak laid decks – NEW TEAK DECKS IN 2017. Teak on side deck, bridge deck, centre line recess, coach roof and on cockpit soles and seats.
• Teak toe rail including closed roller fairleads forward, midships and aft.
• 4 x Watertight bulkheads.

Keel & Rudder:

• Emergency tiller steering.
• “Regatta” keel is a lead casting alloyed with antimony.
• NEW modified fin and bulb keel (2013) designed by Hugh Welbourne.
• Cast in keel bolts are of high tensile stainless steel.
• Rudder is foam filled GRP with tapered tubular stock of E-glass composite, supported by 2 x JP3 self-aligning roller bearings.
• New Nautor rudder blade/stock (2003).
• New rudder bearings in (2013).
• New rudder bearing seals in 2021.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 1 x Yanmar 4JH2-UTBE turbocharged and intercooled marine diesel, output 71kw/96khp @3,600 rpm with reverse reduction gear 3.3:1.
• Separ KWA-50 fuel/water separator with water alarm.

Maintenance & Performance:

• Cruising speed: 7.5 knots.
• Fuel consumption 6.8 litres (1.5 gallons per hour).
• Engine hours: Approximately 7,500 hrs September 2024.

Propulsion & Steering:

• Stainless steel destroyer type steering wheel with elk hide cover.
• Cable steering with chain drive.
• Weed cutter forward of the rudder blade.
• Through hull fitting for endoscope.
• The cockpit contains the engine ON/OFF controls, single lever throttle and gearshift; control lights for starting, coolant temperature with alarm, oil pressure with alarm, tachometer with hour meter.
• Wet exhaust system discharge through hull near transom with shut off seacock.
• Three blade 23” Maxprop folding propeller for passage and cruising.
• Two bladed Maxprop folding propeller for racing.

Electrical Systems

Voltage Systems:

• 24v electrical ship's supply.
• Mains AC ring with 230v outlets throughout the yacht.
• Comprehensive circuit breaker and switches for all 240v/24v electrical systems.

Battery Banks:

• Service batteries (2019).
• Service battery set giving 520 Ah, 5-hour rating; 12 x 2V AGM traction type for general service.
• Engine starting battery giving 135 Ah, 12v (2019).
• Generator starting battery giving 90 Ah, 12v (2019).

Battery Chargers:

• Mastervolt Charge master Plus 70-amp battery charger with automatic regulation, capable of being run off either generator or shore supply (2021).

NOONMARK’s interior is executed in teak with teak and holly sole boards.

Forepeak:

• 2 x fold-down pipe cot bunks.

Forward Guest Cabin Port:

• 2 upper and lower berths
• Plenty of storage

Forward Guest Cabin Starboard:

• 2 upper and lower berths
• Removable centreline door and panels to separate forward cabins.
• Air conditioning unit.

Note: There is a removable bulkhead between the port and starboard forward guest cabins. This can be removed and stored off the yacht when she is in regatta mode, or if the yacht is cruising with 2 couples as the area provides a larger en-suite cabin for guest.

Forward Head Starboard:

• Shower compartment with teak floor grating.

Saloon:

• Fixed table positioned slightly to starboard with under table storage.
• Sofa seating around the forward saloon bulkhead and the starboard side.
• 2 Removable chairs and a removable stool that can be secured whilst at sea.

• The port side has a sofa which is also perfect as asea-berth with lockers, TV, and video on the outboard side.

• The engine room has an air inlet with water trap outlet with blower – all with remote control for fire prevention.

Owner’s Cabin Aft:
