Jeanneau presents the signature new model for 2005. The Sun Odyssey 49 DS was conceived using the “Deck Salon” concept of the Sun Odyssey 54 DS. Like her big sister, she adopts the teardrop-shaped windows; a key to the success and something to emulate. Her performance-orientated hull designed by Philippe Briand / Jeanneau Design and the new generation deck line created by Vittorio Garroni ensures the boat is not only elegant but comfortable at sea.

Original. Lightly used and in very good condition. New UV cover on Genoa in 2022.
2. Is there a spinnaker
No.
3. Age of the standing rigging
Original. Full Rigging Inspection in 2015. New Morseman turnbuckles on both backstays in 2021.
4. Age of running rigging
Replaced in 2017. Very lightly used given Covid years in storage.
5. Size and make of anchor
Delta Plow anchor in the photo, plus a spare anchor.
6. Length of anchor chain
60 meters (~200 ft) of new chain in 2019.
7. spare anchors?
Yes, but can’t recall name in English.
8. House battery bank capacity in Ahs
Not sure, but they are top of the line AGM batteries in 2020.
9. Battery age
2 years old
