DESIGNER’S (VISMARA) COMMENTS:
ALLIGATOR was born from an intervention of customization on lines of hull of Bruce Farr, aimed at creating a Fast Cruiser with a sporty look, but with sophisticated and elegant interiors.
The construction of the hull and deck it is made of composite of Kevlar, R glass and resin epoxy, while the interiors are made with structural sandwich panels and teak veneered.
The boat has features very close to the latest maxi regatta styling: open stern, two wheels with composite columns, equipment reduced to a minimum with running halyards below deck in special ducts, medium light displacement and high keel high straightening. The sail plan was designed to obtain the best performance in light and medium wind conditions includes a large fully battened mainsail and a low overlap genoa, easily maneuverable even with a reduced crew. The mast has swept-back spreaders to remove the need for running backstays.
The interiors are been arranged according to needs of the owner with the galley and the accommodation of the crew clearly separated from the area of the owner.
