Construction

RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Hand laid laminate of chopped strand mad and woven rovings.
• Moulded framework of floors and stringers.
• Inner pan mouldings and deck lining.
• Balsa cored laminate deck with hardwood in way of fittings.

Keel & Rudder:

• External cast iron fin keel.
• Rudder - GRP moulding on stainless steel frame, fully supported on a moulded skeg..

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 1 x Volvo 2040 3 cylinder diesel engine, 40hp (2004).

Maintenance & Performance:

• Engine hours approx. 2500 @ June 2024.
• Engine last serviced March 2024.
• Fuel consumption – 2 litres p/h @2000rpm.
• Range at 2000 rpm – 300 miles.
• Exhaust elbow replaced 2020.
• Silencer and exhaust pipe to engine replaced 2017.
• Engine spares.

Propulsion & Steering:
