Accommodation :
The Broom 36 offers accommodation for Four people across two cabins and the saloon. The forward cabin offers a V berth with under-berth storage. This cabin also includes a full-length hanging wardrobe and additional storage space.
There is a Heads, positioned on the port side behind the forward cabin, featuring a sink set in a vanity unit and a marine toilet. The sink is equipped with hot and cold water. The heads also includes a separate Mira shower. Hot water is supplied by the engine through a calorifier tank and via a 240V immersion heater.
The galley, opposite the heads to the starboard side, includes a double stainless-steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, a three-burner Eno gas hob with an oven and grill, microwave, 12–Volt fridge, 240-Volt sockets, and ample storage space.
Ascending into the main saloon, this area offers great natural light and great visibility through two large forward and three side-facing windows to both port and starboard. The saloon benefits from a U-shaped seating area with cream upholstery to starboard, under-seat storage, and plenty of extra storage via cupboards on the port side. This area also benefits from a radio/CD Player and TV.
Steps at the rear of the saloon lead down to the owner's cabin, with a large off-centre island double bed, draws on either side of the bed and a hanging wardrobe to starboard. The owner's cabin also boasts an ensuite with a sink set in a vanity unit and a marine toilet, separate shower cubical with Mira shower. The sink is equipped with hot and cold water.
The companion way leads to the aft cockpit, the helm is located on the starboard side, with a double helm seat with full engine controls and operational navigation aids. This area is complete with a fully enclosed canopy, a swappable backrest to the helm seat, rear bench seating with under-seat storage spans across the stern, creating booth seating perfect for entertaining. The stern cockpit also provides access to the bathing platform via a stainless steel ladder.

Keel and Hull
History & Construction
This Broom 36 was designed by Andrew Wolstenholme and built by Broom Boats in 1996. This boat features a white GRP hull and topsides with stainless steel stanchions, pulpit, and a stainless-steel ladder leading to the bathing platform.
Its planning hull design ensures excellent stability at sea. The vessel was last out of the water in July 2024 for antifouling, hull polishing, and anode replacement. A 2014 survey is available upon request, and the owner has confirmed that all recommendations from the survey have been completed. The current owner has enjoyed the boat for the past 10 years and is selling due to a change in his circumstances.

Mechanical Systems
This Broom 36 has twin Perkin Sabre 265HP turbocharged diesel engines, driving shafts with 2 x 4-bladed fixed propellers with rope cutters.
The engines are fresh water-cooled and were last serviced in July 2023. The engines have completed a total of 1877 hours, as of 18th June 2024.
There are two 500-litre Stainless steel fuel tanks giving a total fuel capacity of 1000Lt. The Cruising speed of this Broom 36 is 16 knots with a top speed of 23 knots. To make handling easy this boat is fitted a Vertus bow thruster and trim tabs.
Electrical Systems
The Broom 36 is equipped with six 12-volt batteries. (2 x engine, 260Ah 2022) + (2 x domestic, 120Ah 2022) (1 x Bow Thruster) + (1 x Genset start, 90Ah 2014)
These batteries are charged both by the alternator and battery charger when connected to the 240V power system. Managing the 12V system is a Sterling distribution and charging system, ensuring optimal performance of the electrical setup onboard.
This Broom 36 also benefits from a Fisher Panda Generator, connected to a 240v ring main throughout the vessel that includes an immersion heater and battery charger.
