Accommodation
The Beneteau Oceanis 311 owner's version layout offers six berths in three cabins with approx. 6 ft 3 max. headroom. Double V berth forward with infill to increase berth size, hanging locker to port, storage, and hatch to foredeck. Saloon with two settee berths either side of a central table with drop leaves, good stowage including beneath berths, TV/DVD with aerial (all new in 2020) and stereo system, two portlights, opening hatch, and fixed skylight. Galley to port equipped with Eno two-burner gas cooker with oven, stainless steel sink with hot, cold and foot operated seawater supply, 60L fridge, and ample storage. Aft facing chart table to starboard with navigation equipment and electrical distribution panel. Separate heads compartment aft to starboard with marine toilet, shower, washbasin, storage, and wet hanging locker. Large double berth aft to port with hanging locker, opening portlight, and additional storage areas. Eberspacher diesel fired warm air heating system. Pressurised hot and cold water system heated by engine calorifier with immersion coil. Spare water pump. Light Jade upholstery throughout with complimenting curtains.
Mechanical Systems
Located under companionway steps, Volvo Penta MD2020, three-cylinder, 19hp diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger (new exhaust system 2022). Single lever controls with electric start. Plastic 70L fuel tank. Shaft drive (new stern gland July 2022) with rope cutter to fixed 2-bladed propeller. Sidepower bow thruster (fitted 2020). The engine has been regularly serviced.
Electrical Systems
4 x 12v batteries (2 x domestic, engine and bow thruster/windlass, all new 2019/20) charged via engine alternator. Shore power system with ring mains, immersion coil and smart battery charger. Solar panel. Xantrex Link 10 battery monitoring system. Electrical distribution panel. Full cabin lighting.
Sails and Spars
Fractional rigged sloop. Silver anodised aluminium deck stepped mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2019). Terylene running rigging (most renewed between 2012-2019). Slab reefing mainsail with stackpack system (new 2016). Facnor furling headsail system (new halyard swivel 2024). All lines are led aft to 12 clutches/jammers. 2 x Lewmar 30 self-tailing sheet winches. Lewmar 16 self-tailing halyard winch.

Beneteau Oceanis 311 Clipper built by Beneteau to a Finot design in 2001, first launched in July 2001. White GRP hull, superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Copper coated beneath the waterline in 2014, keel antifouled in 2020. Cast iron stub ballast keel with winglets and pivoting centre plate. Centre plate operated by winch handle at saloon table. Wheel steering to twin spade hung rudders. Anodised aluminium toe rails. Walkthrough transom to bathing platform. In 2015 the lifting keel worm drive was renewed, and the worm drive has been regularly cleaned and lubricated since to ensure reliable operation.
