"Halekai" was purchased by her present owners in 2017 and a professional survey was carried out at the time. She is a UK VAT PAID boat and was based at Titchmarsh Marina in the UK over Brexit in December 2022. Her owners carried out extensive upgrades over the years in preparation for long term cruising. They crossed the Bay of Biscay in 2022 and have cruised the Mediterranean, now based in Samos Greece for viewing.
