Boat Details

'Alaskan Star' has been a cherished and much loved member of the family for her current owners since 1978. Sleeping six across two cabins her spacious interior is beautifully crafted throughout and is superbly comfortable for long term cruising or indeed full time living aboard.

Grand Banks Yachts were founded in 1956 under the original yard name of American Marine and are still building high quality, beautiful motor yachts today.  The 'Alaskan 49' was built by American Marine in their Hong Kong yard featuring Mahogany planking on Yakal frames and is one of the most iconic design classics from the drawing board of renowned Naval Architect Robert Dorris.
