CAP MED BOAT & YACHT CONSULTING is pleased to present for sale this magnificent Swiss Cat 55 catamaran, a new semi-custom model designed by French naval architect François PERUS of Yacht Design Collective and built by Italian manufacturer Top Marine Costruzione. A fast blue-water cruising boat.


Main features:

Daggerboards for better upwind ability, less wetted surface and greater safety.

Two steering wheels for better visibility under sail and for maneuvering in tight spaces.

Luxurious, warm wood interior with balsa core.

Only three female molds were used for the entire hull, deck and roof.

After thorough finite element analysis, the hull lamination consists of an E-glass skin, a SAN-based Gurit Corecell M foam core, epoxy resin, post-cure, including primary bulkheads in laminated carbon fiber prior to demolding. Carbon fiber is used in high-load areas, including longitudinal spars, spars and bows, daggerboard junctions and front crossmembers.

Caractéristiques principales :

Des dérives pour une meilleure capacité à remonter au vent, moins de surface mouillée et plus de sécurité.

Deux barres à roue pour une meilleure visibilité sous voiles et pour les manœuvres dans les espaces restreints.

Intérieur en bois luxueux et chaleureux, avec âme en balsa

Trois moules femelles seulement ont été utilisés pour l'ensemble de la coque (coque, pont et toit).

Après une analyse approfondie par éléments finis, la stratification de la coque se compose d'une peau en verre E, d'un noyau en mousse Gurit Corecell M à base de SAN, d'une résine époxy, d'une post-cuisson, y compris les cloisons primaires en fibre de carbone laminée avant le démoulage.
