Open 60 (1992) for sale in Poland

The Open 60, currently for sale in Poland, is a renowned IMOCA 60 Class yacht designed by Groupe Finot and built by CDK Technologies in 1992. Originally rigged as a ketch, it later won the Vendée Globe, subsequently racing with the mizzen removed. With an overall length of 18.28 metres and a beam of 5.70 metres, the yacht boasts an impressive racing pedigree. It achieved a series of notable placements, including 2nd in the Transat Jacques Vabre 1993 and the Route du Rhum 1994 under the skipper Alain Gauthier, and 4th in the Vendée Globe 1997 with Eric Dumont. Under the name Legal le Gout, it came 2nd in the Velux 5 Oceans Race 2011. The boat is equipped with a canting keel, carbon mast, central water ballast for upwind performance, and twin rudders, making it well-suited for competitive racing such as the Ostar Race.
