About this Nauticat 35

English

Nauticat built their reputation with solidly built and well-finished motorsailers which motored better than they sailed. Alongside this, they also built a range of ‘Pilothouse Sailing Yachts’ aimed at the sailor wanting the protection of a wheelhouse without compromising the sailing performance of their yacht. The pilot house range retains the solid build and high-quality finish above and below decks while being designed with sail power as the primary mode of propulsion.

With her current owners since 2018 the Nauticat 35 MARY BEE has proven to be well suited to short-handed sailing in Scottish water with the pilot saloon allowing her crew to enjoy the fabulous scenery even in a poor summer. Lying afloat and ready for viewing her inventory highlights include:

Original gelcoat finish to topsides

OWNER’S COMMENTS:

"Mary Bee is very easy to manage short-handed, rigged with a non-jamming behind the mast reefing system, and a bow thruster for tight marina situations. She is a very secure boat and goes well on all points of sail, cutting through challenging seas with an easy non-slamming motion as befits her S and S derived design. I was in the process of returning the external woodwork to its natural finish, all of it is solid. Sadly we have to sell her as we can no longer carry on sailing."
