KERENZA
Kerenza was commissioned by the owner, VAT paid, so that he could sail when he was aged 80. Now he's past that milestone, reluctantly, he is moving to the dark side.
Sailing Kerenza is simplified with in-mast reefing, electric powered primary winches, an anchor windlass and a bow thruster.
The Najad 380 is a much sought after ocean cruising yacht capable of eating up the miles. Kerenza is a fine example of the marque, well-used but cared for and in excellent condition (Kerenza means much loved in Cornish!). The caulking of the teak decks was trimmed and gently sanded last year. She must be seen to compare with other 380s currently on the market. Kerenza has been regularly maintained by the owner, supported by Ocean Marine Services at Chichester Marina where she is berthed. She has many extras, several of which are the result of the owner and his wife's 40,000 miles learned experience including ocean passages and in 2018 with Kerenza to the Azores and back.
