Mechanical & Electrical Systems

Located under centre cockpit with excellent engine room access. Year 2002, Yanmar 4JH3-E marine diesel engine. 56hp. Single lever engine controls. Shaft drive to three blade Flexofold folding propeller with shaft rope cutter. The engine has been regularly serviced and has logged some 1,650 hours from new. The engine was realigned, new cutlass bearing, stern gland and rope cutter in 2020. Heat exchanger replaced in 2021 and new starter motor in 2023.

Sleipner 6hp bow thruster, 2022.

Three 12V domestic batteries (130ah each) plus engine start and bow thruster batteries - all batteries 2024. Battery monitoring system. All charging via engine alternator (80amp) and 240V Victron Centaur 40amp charger (2022). Sterling alternator booster.

The layout comprises two double cabins with two single berths in the saloon. The first class interior is fitted out in African Mahogany hand polished and varnished to a satin finish. From forward:

Forepeak - Double V berth. Plenty of cupboards, shelving and wardrobe space. Deck hatch with shade and fly screen plus portholes, all with curtains.

Saloon - The spacious saloon has settee berths port and starboard with folding leaf table between. Numerous shelves, outboard cupboards and under berth storage. Overhead and reading lights.

Chart Table - Forward facing chart table to starboard. Storage for charts and drawers storage. Navigators seat has a three layer fitted tool kit. Full electrical panels (12V & 240V0, tank gauges, battery monitoring systems, etc.).

Galley - The L shaped galley is to port and partly in the walkway to the aft cabin. This has twin stainless steel sinks (with hot and cold pressurised fresh water supply) with a Telia water filter to the cold supply. Emergency foot pump tap. Gimballed SMEV twin burner gas cooker with oven. Fridge unit to 100l top loading insulated ice box. Many cabinets, cabinets and shelving offering extensive storage.

Heads - The heads compartment is aft of the chart table and next to the companionway. This has full standing headroom and is finished in white laminate with Corian basin worktop. Marine toilet with holding tank. Telephone type shower head and curtain. Ample cupboard storage and ventilated wet locker with a heating outlet. Opening port to deck.

Aft Cabin - Accessed from galley passage. Large starboard side double berth with settee to port. Three port holes and deck hatch with curtains. Good cupboard, shelving and wardrobe storage.

Eberspacher diesel fired central heating system. Lee cloth to saloon berths. Radio/CD player with saloon and cockpit speakers. Teak and Holly saloon sole. Carpets. Blue fabric upholstery in excellent condition.
