Information:
Tenacity is a Van de Stadt designed yacht. Extremely capable and easy to sail. She has been anti-fouled and is ready for the water immediately with a mooring available at SCYC.
In 2023 the mast was removed to service the sheaves and lights etc. The engine was replaced in 2022 with a reconditioned unit and has been fully serviced. In 2024 the impeller, filters and engine anodes were all replaced as was the starter motor.
Included in the sale is a mooring outside the South Caenarvonshire Yacht Club where the boat can be kept between April and October. This is an extremely economical way to keep a sailing boat.
She has all lines led aft, she can be sailed from the cockpit. The Main Halyard and Topping Lift were replaced in 2023.
Onboard is a Neptune Windvane, servo pendulum self-steering system. Parts and Support are available. This is an easy to operate system that also acts as a backup rudder. There also is a Navico Tillerpilot 2500 for electrical auto steering.
The battery has a solar charger attached, which keeps the battery full at all times.
There are various spare items kept on board, including a bilge pump, filters and belts.
There is a mast ladder, climbing harness and helmet for accessing the top of the mast. This means there is no need to use winches to climb the mast.
The navigation system is by GPS. There is an IPAD holder which fits to the Dodger for easy reading whilst sailing.
Her hulls were painted in 2023 with a quality paint from International and spare paint/undercoat etc is onboard should any be required.
The sail suite is complete with 3 slab reefed main and furling headsail. There is a Genoa, Stay Sail and Spinnaker in the forward compartment.
