Marketing Description
Well appointed and equipped Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32.2. This Jacques Fauroux designed yacht is a delight to sail with all lines led aft to helm. Comes complete with the added bonus of a complete cockpit enclosure making her ideal for northern cruising. Clean and spacious down below with two double cabins. Vessel recently ashore for antifouling and cutlass bearing.
Mechanical
Vessel is powered by a well maintained Yanmar 3GM30 inboard diesel engine. Most recent service was in February 2024 ready for season. During the recent lift out for antifouling, the cutlass bearing was replaced and a new anodes installed.
The engine is housed beneath the companionway steps with easy access to the front and rear of engine for servicing and daily checks. Engine start panel mounted in the aft cockpit coaming behind a protective Perspex screen.

Electrical
Bank of 2x12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. These are fitted with battery selector switches and are recharged via the engines alternator or the on board battery charger.

Rigging
Bermudan sloop sail plan with deck stepped aluminium spars. Block and tackle vang and mainsheet track forward of sprayhood. All lines are led aft for ease when sailing solo or with an inexperienced crew.
Stainless steel standing rigging and braid on braid running rigging.
Roller furling headsail system by Harken and slab reefing for mainsail. Genoa sheet tracks mounted on coachroof keep side decks clear. Harken ST40 self tailing halyard and genoa sheet winches. Vessel rigged for spinnaker including sail, pole and halyards.

Accommodation
Below decks is warm and welcoming thanks to the combination of teak veneer cabinet work and navy cushions. The floor is teak and holly in good condition. Owners double cabin aft and double cabin in the bow. The curved saloon dining/seating area with settee/berths either side of the saloon table. The starboard side of the table is drop leaved allowing unhindered access through the boat.
The galley is situated to port of the companionway steps This area features a stainless steel sink, gas fuelled oven with 2-burner hob and grill and a top loading refrigerator. There is storage cupboard above and below the work tops.

Construction
GRP constructed sailing yacht with standard draft fin keel, semi-balanced rudder and binnacle mounted wheel steering. White hi-gloss topsides with smart navy and silver hull decals. Underwater areas were antifouled in August 2024, topsides were polished, and anodes replaced.
Good sized side decks with easy access forward to foredeck with anchor locker and strong point. Cast aluminium stem head fitting with double roller. Aluminium toe rail. Mooring cleats fore, aft and midships. Stainless steel bow and stern rails joined by stainless steel stanchions and double set of coated guard wires.
Large self-bailing cockpit with teak laid locker tops. Easy access to teal laid bathing platform with stainless steel bathing ladder and teak tread. Storage lockers port and starboard. Transom shower. Emergency tiller. Full stainless steel frame with provision for dinghy storage and the possible addition of solar panels at a later date.
