Founded in the quiet seaside town of Dorset, UK, in the year 1974, the prestigious Jaguar Yachts began its journey. Started by Geoffrey Wilson and David Wilcox, it started as Jaguar Yachts Ltd and mainly produced small sailing catamarans. These catamarans were a sight to behold and were renowned for their superior build quality, outstanding performance, and immensely attractive designs. A quality that still remains a defining characteristic of their boating crafts.
In 1985, the Jaguar name was sold to Eric Reynolds of Prout International, Essex, where continued manufacturing of the Jaguar 27 took place. The dynamism of the company saw it change hands several times and transform into a legend of British craftsmanship. Notwithstanding the ownership changes, the Jaguar brand continued to thrive and prosper, maintaining its reputation for creating one-of-a-kind, luxury watercraft.
Jaguar Yachts is now under the wing of Tony and Peter Jacobs, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA since 2006. In its present iteration, Jaguar is known for its range of high-speed, luxury powerboats. Each boat is manufactured with meticulous attention to detail, combined with advanced materials and construction methods. Effectively harmonising tradition and innovation, Jaguar continues to produce waterborne masterpieces that encapsulate unmatched quality, performance, and prestige.
