Mechanical & Electrical Systems

Located on the transom is the Honda 8hp, 4 stroke engine. Circa 2001 year. 25 litre plastic fuel tank. 3 bladed propeller. Forward and reverse gears.

12 volt battery (2021). 240 volt shorepower system. Wind generator.

Mast, Rigging & Contruction

Built by Hunter Marine in 2001 to their own design. White GRP hull, deck and superstructure. Moulded non-skid decks. Stainless steel pulpit and pushpit with guard wires all round makes her a safe vessel for moving around on deck. The centreboard is a GRP moulding, with just enough ballast moulded in to let it drop. The main ballast is the 600kg water ballast carried in the tanks under the saloon sole - which is drained for trailing. Good sized cockpit with two lockers and separate fuel locker. Lifting rudder and tiller steering.

Fractionally rigged Bermudan sloop. Deckstepped alloy mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging (2021). Terylene running rigging (2021). Mast raising/lowering system. Slab reefing mainsail system. Headsail furling system. Two halyard systems. Lazyjacks.

This weekend trailer sailor offers up to four comfortable berths in a simple and well laid out interior. Double V berth up forward with a small but workable saloon and galley. Large double berth to the aft of the boat. Chemical toilet. Galley sink with a manual cold water supply.
