TOCCATA was supplied new to her current owner in the spring of 2008. She has a thoughtful inventory of extras that leaves little for her next owner to add. The current owners have loved her and maintained her making TOCATTA and genuine Hallberg-Rassy 342 that should be of interest  to anybody looking for a fun aft -cockpit cruiser.
The Hallberg-Rassy 342 remains a popular size and model from the highly regarded Swedish boat builder. She embodies a rare mix of quality, comfort, safety and performance. Easily managed by two crew all control lines are led aft to the protected cockpit where the toughened glass windscreen gives the helm and crew a clear view of the sea ahead.
Designed by German Frers, her fractional rig and slab-reefing mains sail give good performance on all points of sale and is optimised for light wind performance. Single line reefing allows for safe and rapid sail reduction from the cockpit without compromising sail shape. When not in use the sail can be stowed neatly in its Stack Pack on the boom. All standing rigging was re-newed in Sept 2024.
Below decks, wide and shallow companionway steps lead to a functional, spacious and light interior with first class joinery and beautiful mahogany wood. The forward facing chart table is at the centre of the boat offering easy communication to the cockpit. Likewise the galley opposite can be used without obstruction the passage of other crew through the boat and offer plenty of storage, gimballed cooker, double sinks and a spacious fridge/freezer.
The heads compartment is ideally located on at the base of the companionway stairs includes shower with sump and a holding tank.

Interior finished in mahogany with two-component matt silk varnish. Interior locker doors with rounded edges. Wooden inner frames for the skylights. Deluxe upholstery in blue. Side curtains and skylight curtains in beige. Carpet in blue. Floors are in teak with inlaid holly stripes and varnished. Inspection openings in floorboards. Ivory headlining accentuated with mahogany inlays. Webasto heating throughout.

  • SALOON: Two sofas, on port side a 1.90m long L-shaped sofa and on starboard side 2.15m with berth extension under the chart table. Lockers above the sofas and stowage space beneath the starboard side saloon sofa. Bookshelfs on port and starbord side. Dropleaf saloon table. Opening portlights. Pioneer stereo/CD player with speakers in saloon. Corum clock. Headroom 1.91m.
  • GALLEY: On port side gimballed gas cooker with oven and two burner hob. Double stainless steel sinks with pressurised hot and cold water. Ample stowage room, chopping board, drawers and waste bin. Fridge: well insulated box with basket and 12v cooling unit.
  • CHART TABLE: Instrument shelf for navigation equipment. Electric switch panel with gauges for fuel and water, voltmeter. Opening windows over both galley and chart table.
  • FORWARD CABIN: Double berth 2.14m long and 2.07m wide at the widest part. Foot end 57cm wide. On both sides there are lockers above and generous stowage below the berth. Big hanging locker on starboard side and various lockers on starboard side. Vanity unit to port with large mirror. Two opening portlights. Door leading to saloon.
  • AFT CABIN: 2.16m long berth, 1.76m wide at widest part. Footend 1.11m wide. Hanging locker. Lockers above berth and stowage below. Door leading to saloon. Two opening portholes ensure good ventilation.
  • HEADS COMPARTMENT: Interior lining and cupboard in white matt Resopal. Watertight shower stall with teak grating. 12v shower waste pump. Manual pump toilet. Stainless holding tank, to be emptied by gravity or deck pump outlet. Corian wash basin and Corian countertop. Stowage above and below. Wet locker. Large mirror. Two opening portholes for ventilation.
