OWNERS COMMENTS:
The vendor has owned ODYSSEE for eighteen years and prior to this she had three former owners.
In 2012, due to the captain being ill, ODYSSEE was dried out on land for eight months so the owners decided to carry out an epoxy treatment using Hempel Profiler 35370, High Protect 35651 and Olympic Antifouling 86900.
The owners say
“ODYSEE was originally launched for a man who wanted to sail around the world but unfortunately he died very suddenly in France. Our previous owner, a professional captain of big motor yachts, lived onboard for ten years in Cote d’Azur. Then we bought her and lived onboard all year round, sailing the Mediterranean seas for the next seventeen years.
Today the Captain is unfortunately having to give up sailing, only a health problem is forcing him to part with this sailing boat worthy of the Frans Maas Shipyard, famous for their construction and navigation qualities. For more than thirty years the owners of this long distance sailing boat have lived onboard so she has been regularly maintained, refurbished and upgraded. Her great autonomy makes her possible to frequent quiet anchorages, far from ports and marinas. The boat’s comfort and security has been proven many times across the Mediterranean seas.”
