A WINNER BOAT

- 2024: QQ7 has officially started the 2024 regatta season, racing as its first race in early May, “La200” , with a course Caorle-Grado-Sansego (CR)-Caorle, obtaining first place in Class 0-A and 4th place overall.

In addition, just last week, with departure May 26th and arrival Friday, May 31st , QQ7 participated in the prestigious international regatta “La500”, with route Caorle-Sansego(CR)-Tremiti Islands-Sansego-Caorle, coming first overall Line Honours and obtaining first place in Class 0-A and 4th place overall.

- WINNER - 2023 First in the Italian offshore championship in crew and first in class A. In addition to the victory at regatta Barcolana 55 in class A and at regatta Veleziana 2023 in class A, “QQ7” boat has proven, as a result of the many modifications, to be a winning boat both in ORC competitions in compensated and in real in class A.

- PRIZE 36TH EDITION OF THE COPA DEL REY MAPFRE.

Boat always collected multi-victories during the years and, on 2017, it won the first prize at XIV edition of “Regatta of Cetaceans”, it was ranked first in the category IRC Corynthian at the prestigious Copa del Rey in Palma de Mallorca and lastly, at Tour de Corse, got the third place of ORC category and fifth in real time.

During recent IRC European Championship in Sanremo, we succeeded in getting an excellent 2° place in corrected time on race 06, as well as a 5° place and a 6° place about one minute later than boat at 3° place.

Apart from that, there are 9 Olympic Sails racing sails, all manufactured during the last 12 months (practically new) as well as a further 16 spare-sails including 5 spinnakers.

During 2022 and early 2023 major refitting and improvements were made to both the boat's bulb and hull, as well as to the set of newly purchased sails and, furthermore and not least, the on-board electronics.

Construction

Builder: Goetz

Built in USA by the Goetz shipyard in 2003 with no budget’s limit.

The boat, seen from its inside, generates so much emotion such it was so well built, by enhancing the special manufacturing of the hull in kevlar.

During 2022 and early 2023 major refitting and improvements were made to both the boat's bulb and hull, as well as to the set of newly purchased sails and, furthermore and not least, the on-board electronics.

Complete and careful re-fit made during 2016/2017, the whole boat has been rechecked and all possible worn parts have been replaced piece by piece.

Tailor-made boat’s cradle is property of the boat itself.
