CONSTRUCTION - overview
Michel Dufour, an engineer and sailing enthusiast from La Rochelle, decided to set up his own shipyard back in 1964. Specialising in the design and sale of French yachts for over 50 years, Dufour Yachts has established a reputation as a leading company in its field.
The new Grand Large 410 supersedes the earlier 405, but is a completely new boat with an entirely different hull and deck. Her superstructure is very low and sleek, while her gently rising sheerline, hard chines and plumb bow give her a contemporary styling that is nothing short of stunning. Underway, it all combines to provide a comfortable experience with easy motion, precise steering and effortless tracking.
