Founded in 1990, Delphia Yachts began in the landlocked city of Olecko, Poland. Despite its remote location, the company's founders, brothers Piotr and Wojciech Kot, envisaged building quality yachts that would dominate the nautical world. Encouraged by their passion for sailing and an innate sense of precision engineering, the entrepreneurial duo initially focused on the design and manufacture of sailing yachts and motorboats. Remarkably, what started as a small family business in a rented workshop, quickly evolved into one of the most successful yacht manufacturers in the world.
Delphia Yachts' reputation for craftsmanship, performance, and innovation led to rapid growth in the 90s and early 2000s. This culminated in the construction of a state-of-the-art production facility in Olecko in 2002. Meticulous attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the use of innovative materials and technologies soon propelled Delphia to the global stage. Their portfolio expanded to include luxurious motor yachts, robust sailing yachts, and innovative electric boats, each model showcasing Delphia's commitment to functionality, safety, and comfort. Delphia's success saw the acquisition of neighbouring Maxi Yachts, a luxury Swedish manufacturer, in 2012, further enhancing their standing in the global yachting industry.
Today, Delphia's headquarters remain in Olecko, Poland, but their boats grace waters worldwide. The company is part of the French multinational Group Beneteau, which took over in 2018. Despite changes in ownership, Delphia continues to uphold its legacy of craftsmanship, proving that meticulous design and manufacturing lead to superior nautical experiences. Whether a sailor is seeking adventure or tranquillity on the high seas, Delphia's diverse offerings cater to all, showcasing the enduring spirit of this thriving boat manufacturer.
