Built in 1995 and designed by the renowned Ian Farrier, the Corsair F27 trimaran 'Jen' epitomizes the thrill and responsiveness of fast multihull sailing. Originally launched in 2000 after being meticulously stored for eight years, Jen has a rich history, including cruising the German coast before making her way to Poole with her current owners in 2015. Over the years, she has proven herself a lively, exhilarating vessel perfect for weekend adventures and high-speed cruising along the South Coast. Her fast and agile handling, combined with a sleek, polished hull that has been carefully maintained, ensures a stunning aesthetic and seamless performance on the water.
Jen is equipped with a Tohatsu 8hp 2-stroke outboard and a practical 12-volt electrical system, supported by two solar panels for on-the-go charging. The sloop-rigged configuration features new sails, including a fully battened mainsail and vertical battened jib from Saunders Sails (2023), complemented by upgraded stainless steel standing rigging from 2022. Below deck, she offers comfortable accommodations for four, including a double berth, two single berths in the saloon, a heads compartment with a washbasin, and a two-burner hob. Her compact yet well-thought-out interior and functional galley allow for memorable weekends at sea or extended stays in comfort.
Deck-wise, Jen comes fully equipped with three spinnakers, new trampolines, a bow forestay updated in 2019, and reliable deck gear, including a new anchor in 2023. Navigation is facilitated with a full suite of Raymarine instruments, ensuring confident and safe cruising. Whether you’re seeking speed, excitement, or family fun, Jen is ready to hit the water, with a freshly maintained hull that has been polished and covered over winter, awaiting the next adventure. For those who seek thrilling coastal escapades, Jen delivers an unparalleled multihull experience.
