Step aboard the historic charm of the Buchanan 33, Thandora. This captivating yacht, with an overall length of 10.06 meters and beam of 2.72 meters, was designed by the acclaimed Alan Buchanan in line with the 1960 RORC rules. Crafted with care by the St Osyth boatyard in 1961 to Lloyd's 100A1, Thandora is built for speed and stunning performance. Planked in 3/4" mahogany and fitted with Canadian Rock Elm timbers, she elegantly straddles the line between beauty and durability. The external iron ballast keel and galvanised steel strap floors add to her robust construction. With a self-draining cockpit, varnished teak coamings and tiller steering, Thandora has proved her worth both as a comfortable cruiser and a competitive racer during her cruises from the UK coast to France. This delightful yacht promises to turn heads and spark conversations wherever she sails.
