The Beneteau Evasion 32, located in Fiumicino, Italy, is a classic 1977 motorsailer, measuring 9.70 metres in length with a 3.00-metre beam. Designed by André Bénéteau, this model was the first motorsailer produced by the Bénéteau shipyard and was in production from 1973 to 1987, with a total of 286 units built. It features a ketch rig, long keel, and a below-deck wheelhouse, offering stability and comfort, though the superstructures can slightly impede helm visibility. The boat includes powerful engines ranging from 30 to 55 hp and spacious interiors with a panoramic saloon, two berths, and a functional kitchen. It’s equipped with navigation instruments such as radar, GPS, VHF, and autopilot, alongside safety features including a fire extinguisher and bilge pump.
Bénéteau's first motorsailer has an important weight, but also appreciable comfortWith its ketch rig, long keel and below-deck wheelhouse, the Evasion 32 is a typical motorsailer of the 1970s. In particular, it was the first produced by the Bénéteau shipyard (designed by André Bénéteau). It was 1973 and it remained in production until 1987 with 286 units made. Hull, dimensions and weight do not make it a fast sailing boat and the superstructures hinder visibility at the helm a bit, but it has excellent stabilityroute, it knows how to face the waves, it allows you to steer in shelter and the engine is obviously powerful (from 30 to 55 hp). The interiors are large and on two levels: on the first there is the panoramic saloon with a table and benches facing each other on the starboard side, kitchen on the left and wheelhouse; going down there are 2 berths, one in the bow in a “V” shape and one on the starboard side.art.BolinaConstruction number 181
BolinaNumero costruzione 181
