This Bavaria 37 Cruiser has good sized double cabins fore and aft and with the additional saloon single settee berth provides comfortable accommodation for 5. Sea based for much of its life and equipped for this, it has been on Windermere since the Summer of 2020. 

Construction

GRP construction with fin keel (1.85m draft), spade rudder with wheel steering. Cockpit enclosure fitted 3 years ago.

Engine

Powered by a Volvo Penta MD2030 29hp inboard diesel with Saildrive.  A bank of 3 x 12V batteries (2 x 220amh service and 1 x engine start), these being charged via the motor and a 320W solar panel, fitted in last 3 years. Shore power fitted along with diesel cabin heating.

Rigging, Sails, Accommodation

Fractional Bermuden rig with deck stepped alloy mast and spars. Stainless wire standing rigging. In-mast furling Mainsail plus spare Mainsail. The in-mast furler was replaced 2 years ago. Roller furling Genoa plus spare and Spinnaker.

The Mainsails and genoas are described at in "servicable condition" and the Spinnaker in "as new condition".

Accommodation

Spacious accommodation for 5 with good sized double cabins fore and aft, galley to port with gas oven, hob and grill, twin sinks, pressurised hot and cold water and fridge. Saloon table offset to starboard with C shaped settee, two more single chairs to port. Navigation station to starboard with electronics and a large heads with shower and wet locker to port.
