The Antaris 825, known as "Marissa," is a classic Dutch sloop located in Wargrave, UK. With an overall length of 8.50 metres and a beam of 3.25 metres, this 2008 model has undergone extensive upgrades since being brought to the UK in 2014. Notable features include a nearly new generator fitted in 2021, freshly varnished exterior woodwork as of winter 2023, and modern navigation aids such as bow and stern thrusters and a Garmin depth sounder. Additional amenities include a Vetus 80hp engine, teak flooring, a full canopy, an independent heating system, and various safety equipment. The boat has been well-maintained, with antifouling and an engine service scheduled for spring 2024.
Marissa is a Dutch Antaris 825 knotter. She was commissioned and launch in April 2008, and was originally bought by a Dutch owner. The boat was then bought to the UK in August 2014 and has since had extensive works completed. A new generator was professionally fitted in 2021 and has been used for less than 10 hours so is "as new".
During the winter of 2023, the exterior woodwork was taken back to bare wood and completely re varnished again giving the exterior and "as new" appearance.
With her classic "sloop" look and rope fendering she provides a timeless look with a number of mod cons. She has been fitted with both bow and stern thrusters and a Garmin depth sounder which makes navigating the river ways very easy.
