Mechanical & Electrical Systems

Engine: 1977 Thornycroft T90, 38hp marine diesel engine. Shaft drive to 2020 two blade folding propeller. Fresh water cooled. Single lever engine control. Approx. 100 litre fuel capacity. The engine gives a cruising speed of some 6 knots (subject to loading and fouling). It is professionally serviced annually. Hours unknown. New cutlass bearing 2024.

Electrical: Two 12v batteries (engine start and domestic), both 2022. Charging via engine alternator, shore power charger and solar panel. Battery monitor.

Keel stepped Bermudan sloop rig with two sets of spreaders. Silver anodised aluminium mast and boom by Z Spars. Stainless steel standing rigging with backstay tensioner. Terylene running rigging, mostly lad aft to cockpit. Slab reefing to mainsail with lazyjacks to stack pack mainsail cover. Harken headsail furling system. Spinnaker pole. Rod kicker. Harken 46 self tailing genoa winches. Spinnaker sheet winches. Coachroof mounted control line winches.

Construction:

Moulded by Colvic Craft in 1977. White grp hull with blue style stripes. White grp coachroof with grey painted Treadmaster non skid decks. Alloy toe rails and mooring cleats including midship cleats. Tiller steering to balanced rudder with telescopic tiller extension. Cast iron fin keel. Self draining cockpit. Teak coachroof hand rails and slats to cockpit seats.

Last surveyed in 2014. Cruised on East Coast, Solent and Cornwall plus one trip to Norway and back. Wintered ashore annually. Berth paid until 31.3.2025.
