First a little bit of background....
This catamaran has been sitting here in the boatyard at Preston Marina, under a "tent" enclosure for approximately 20 years. For most of that time not much happened to her, but approx 2-3 years ago work started in earnest by a couple of gentlemen who subsequently became the joint owners of the boat in 2022. The current owners put a lot of time, money and skill into the boat with a view to taking her long-distance, blue water cruising which this boat is very much designed for. They have achieved much in that time, with many new systems fitted to the boat, but alas health and time constraints have meant their plans have had to change and so the boat is offered to the market for completion by a new owner.
Secondly - due to her location it is impossible to take an overall photo of the boat.

In August 2022 the boat was the subject of a survey for insurance purposes. This survey can be read onsite here during viewings - we are not permitted by copyright to circulate copies of the survey by any means. The conclusion of the survey found the boat to be, in the surveyor's opinion, sound and satisfactory condition with no major defects located.

LOGISTICS AND ARRANGEMENTS
This boat has been in this position for around 20 years. In that time the boat yard around it has got busier, and by the standards of Preston Marina, where she is lying, she is a much bigger than average boat - requiring planning and preparation when the time comes for her to move.
Firstly - she can stay where she is while a new owner completes the refit ashore. The previous owner constructed the tent over the boat which can remain in place - provided that the new owner maintains it as to not becoming a risk to third parties and other boats in the yard. . The new owner must remove this structure and clear the site upon vacation. Preston Marina yard storage fees are available upon request. Please note - living aboard is not possible at Preston Marina - and staying aboard while the boat is ashore must be kept to a minimum.
Launching - the boat can be launched into the water here at Preston Marina by prior notice and arrangement. An indication of the notice required will be around 6 months - with launching possible approximately May - September (when there is usually sufficient space in the yard to move the boat)
IMPORTANT NOTE - Once the boat is launched we will not be able to recover the boat to the hard-standing again. The boat really is too large for Preston Marina, and so once launched we will only offer a maximum of one 12 month berthing contract afloat. A new home port must be found for the boat after that time.
Road Transport - Unlikely to be practical and viable to most destinations due to the beam of the boat. We do not do road transport ourselves but have contacts with boat transport companies if you wish to make enquiries,
