"Wild Joe" is a real one of a kind machine. Originally built as "Wild Oats IX", with full carbon
omex construction from the Reichel Pugh drawing board, the boat immediately jumped to success in the early years.
As times move on, so has "Wild Joe", which is now fitted with a new DSS foil system installed in early 2018.
That coupled with her new Doyle Sails package and upgrades across the board, the boat has not only been given a new lease of life, she is now once again ahead of the curve.
Proof is in the pudding with a recent Overall ORCi win at the 2022 Middle Sea Race and 3rd overall IRC.
