1988 Princess 415 1988 For Sale in Kent.
This Princess 415 motor cruiser was built in 1988 and is a clean example of this very popular cruiser. The boat has been well maintained and looked after by the current owner, and is ideal for coastal use, channel hopping in comfort or cruising rivers.
The boat offers excellent light spacious accommodation with two good sized cabins double cabins, completed with recent upholstery, carpets and has diesel cabin heating.
Accommodation :
This Princess 415 offers 4 berths in 2 cabins. The forward owner’s cabin has an island double bed with under berth storage, additional storage to both port and starboard sides. The owners cabin has its own ensuite heads to starboard which consists of a sink mounted in a vanity unit with a marine toilet, mirror and in-built shower tray. The sink has pressurised hot and cold water and a shower attachment. Hot water is heated by calorifier and 240v immersion heater.
There is a second heads to Port that is located behind the owner’s cabin and opposite the second cabin that consists of a sink mounted in a vanity unit with a marine toilet, mirror and in-built shower tray. The sink has pressurised hot and cold water and a shower attachment.
There is a twin cabin to starboard with two single berths with under berth storage and hanging locker, and this cabin benefits from good sized port holes making it light and airy.
The Galley is at the same level as the berths and is to port. It is equipped with a 3-burner gas hob, gas oven and grill (new in 2022), two fridges, combi oven/microwave and single stainless-steel sink.
The saloon has a spacious feel with Royal Blue leatherette upholstery with bench seating to the starboard side around an off-centre moveable saloon table on a stainless-steel pedestal which rises and lowers as required and additional bench seating to port. The internal Helm position is located on the starboard side ahead of the saloon, with double helm seat and navigation area. The vessel benefits from diesel cabin heating. Access to the engines is via the removable saloon floor.
The large patio doors at the aft of the saloon led out to a large cockpit for a boat of its size with all rear seating with cockpit cushions and full cockpit enclosure. It provides easy access to a large storage locker, the flybridge with external helm position with rear seating and table.

History and Construction:
Built in 1988 this Princess 415 was designed by Bernard Olesinski and was built by Princess between 1985 and 1992. This 415 has a white GRP hull and decks with non-slip surfaces. It has a GRP deck in the aft cockpit area with teak steps leading to the fly bridge.
The Boat was last ashore in April 2023, where she was antifouled and her engines where serviced. The anodes will be changed in April 2024.

This Princess 415 has twin Volvo TAMD 63L.A 318HP 6 Cylinder diesel engines which were installed in 2005. Shafts drive 2 x 4 bladed fixed propellers. This Princess has an approximate cruising speed of 17 knots and an approximate maximum speed of 24 knots, The engine is fresh water cooled and was last service in April 2023. Current engine hours are approximately 750Hrs. The engines are supplied by two 600-litre steel fuel tanks giving a total fuel capacity of 1200Lts.
This Boat also has a Bow thruster for added manoeuvrability.
Electrical System:
6 x 12-volt batteries (2 x engine + 4 x domestic batteries) charging from the engine alternator and sterling Battery Management System via the 240v shore power system with ring main and immersion heater.
