2002 Oyster 62, designed by Rob Humphreys / Oyster Design Group and built by Southampton Yacht Services, with classic lines, long fin keel, skeg hung rudder and uniquely extended aft deck / counter transom, which was specially commissioned for its highly experienced sole owner. The combination of an easy to handle and balanced cutter rig with full batten mainsail, hydraulic furling headsails and electric halyard / sheet winches makes it an ideal choice for short-handed or extended family cruising. Ultra high specification also includes 225 hp Perkins Sabre M225Ti diesel engine, bow thruster, twin anchor windlasses, electric flushing toilets, holding tanks, comprehensive electronics package, cabin heating / air conditioning, watermaker, solar panels, wind turbine, twin hydro generators, passerelle, RIB with outboard motor, bimini covers / awnings, liferaft and EPIRB etc. A stunning example of these renowned heavy displacement GRP blue water cruising yachts, beautifully appointed in teak and featuring 2 spacious en suite double cabins and 2 additional twin cabins with dual access to the forward head. “Wishanger II” has been maintained, upgraded and enhanced over time (including 3 extensive refits) to a high standard including black coach roof integrated window surrounds creating the Oyster G2 upgraded appearance.
