Neptune Classic 36 Trawler yacht - 1990....Photos to follow
Occasionally we get asked to bring a special boat to the market and indeed this really is a little bit special....
'Mylor Morning' is a very impressive and beautifully maintained example of a Neptune 36 trawler, her owners clearly loving and cherishing her over the years they have enjoyed her.
She is a classically styled twin engine Trawler Yacht offering generous accommodation and deck space with a sea kindly hull profile. The feeling of space and room has to be one of the main things about this model when you step onboard and will surprise and delight you.
This yacht was built in 1990 and first launched in 1991. Famous for their first class build, quality and attention to detail 'Mylor Morning' features a superb all teak interior with 5 berths in two cabins plus a roomy saloon. En-suite heads to both cabins and a particularly comfortable aft cabin.
Powered by the original twin very economical 210hp Cummins 6BT5.9 4BY six cylinder diesel engines (circa 1400 HRS) with Twin Racor FG500 filter units and full dual engine controls, plus bow and stern thrusters with side power remote control.
This exceptionally seaworthy hull design, built for comfortable long distance cruising, will appeal to both family cruisers wishing to explore, or the live-aboard fraternity alike.
'Mylor Morning' has been impeccably restored with no expense spared and a hugely impressive inventory.
She also has one of the best pontoon moorings in Mylor available!
She is a boat anyone would be proud to own.

NEPTUNE CLASSIC 36.
Built in Taiwan to an American design in 1990 using much now unobtainable teak and was first commissioned/ launched in the UK in 1991.
Hull Number: NEP 361751990
LOA: 11.7m (38' 4") BEAM: 4.3m (14' 0") DRAFT: 1.2m (4' 0")
DISPLACEMENT: 6,803 kg (15,000 Lbs) Dry
CONSTRUCTION:
Conventional GRP construction with the hull and topsides in an original ivory colour gel coat.
Plank caulk lines are moulded into the GRP hull to give the appealing effect of a timber carvel construction. Teak laid decks.
She is a flybridge motor cruiser, of a classic displacement trawler style, with a fine entry, finishing in a shallow V at the transom. She has a raked stem, flared bow and a wide upright transom.
She has a long skeg and a single hard chine incorporating a spray rail towards the bow and has 2/3rd length moulded rubbing strakes starting from the transom.
Twin Cummins 210hp diesel engines provide propulsion through conventional shafts-driving outward turning propellers and she has twin spade rudders (60 deg) for steerage.
Close quarters manoeuvring is assisted with bow and stern thrusters
The hull is of hand lay-up construction using E-glass Fibre mats and polyester resin (GRP). The deck, superstructure and flybridge moulding are also of a conventional E-glass and polyester resin hand lay-up but with a sandwich core material to improve the stiffness to weight ratio in the horizontal surfaces.
Stiffening of the structures is with the use of longitudinal stringers, transverse frames and sheathed plywood bulkheads.
