The 231 Angler is built on NauticStar’s STAR Performance System hull, featuring shallow-water draft for beaching and fishing in skinny waters, air-assist chines and aft planing pods for improved acceleration, and a deep forward V to deliver a smooth ride. With a Yamaha F200 outboard, the boat can plane in 3.3 seconds and reach 30 mph in a quick 5.8. Top speed was a satisfying 48 mph. That’s more than enough performance to handle that third master — kids wanting to tube, ski and board.
