Über diesen Bereich McGruer Lorne Class

English

Designed by James McGruer, the first Lorne Class was launched in 1961 and over the following 16 years, a total of eight examples were built. Designed as a family cruiser, with a good turn of speed for racing, the Lorne Class is a good-looking but robust little yacht. At least two Lorne Class yachts have crossed the Bay of Biscay, one reaching British Columbia.

Number three of the class, ELFIN OF LORNE has been lovingly maintained over the years and continually in commission. The layout of each Lorne Class was bespoke to the commissioning owner's requirements. Offering three adult berths and a child's pipecot, ELFIN OF LORNE is equipped to a high standard throughout, having been the subject of much upgrading in recent years.
