Introducing the AC40 - The Opportunity to FLY.
Ancasta Race Boats, in conjunction with Emirates Team New Zealand and McConaghy boats are extremely proud to launch the new AC40, which for the first time in our sports history, brings Americas Cup technology to the private owner.
The OPPORTUNITY
In the past 6 years, the foiling world for monohull yachts has changed beyond recognition.
Gone are the days where foiling was just a concept, a dream and wild idea - Foiling is here and its here to stay!
This all-new AC40 is now the tangible option that gives private owners a real taste of high-speed America's Cup level performance.
As the Worlds desire for speed continues to increase, sailing is finally starting to move with the times and this is no more apparent than in the America's Cup arena, where 20 years ago yachts would struggle to break speeds into double figures........ Now the technology has caught up, its possible to fly at double or even triple the speed of wind and once you experience that - your opinions of foiling will forever be changed!
The FUTURE
With 8 AC40 yachts already sold to current America's Cup teams and having witnessed hull #1 perform with eye-watering speed and success, the AC40 is ready.
ETNZ and McConaghy boats have already had huge expressions of interest for further sales of the AC40, whereby it is the intention to form a new ONE DESIGN class, racing in these hugely exciting yachts, at some iconic sailing venues.
Early discussion also indicates the possibility of an event being hosted during the 2024 AC event in Barcelona, which could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to passionate, private owners who love our sport.
Quite simply, there is no better time to join the foiling revolution and there is no better opportunity than the AC40.
